While every developer can run his own CSS 3 animations, Motion.js' role is to provide a browser-agnostic environment in which to run these animations while not being affected by various browser inconsistencies.
Since CSS 3 can be rendered in most mobile browsers as well, Motion.js comes with some mobile support by default.
And to avoid other problems, a graceful fallback mechanism is included for browsers that don't support CSS 3 animations.
Motion.js demos are included with the download package.
